Premium Efficient motor = standard

Effective December 19, 2010, the Energy and Independence Security Act of 2007 (EISA) goes into effect, changing efficiency standards and making it illegal to manufacture for sale in the U.S. what was “Standard Efficiency” motors. While it will not be illegal to buy a “Standard Efficiency” motor after December 19, 2010, inventories are already being affected by the impending execution of this legislation.
